We are currently seeking a Salesforce Architect to elevate our Salesforce CRM to meet the demands of our rapidly scaling global business. This role requires a highly skilled Salesforce technology professional who can work across all levels of the organization, crafting, implementing, and evolving both out-of-the-box and custom solutions that adhere to best practices for systems integration across the Salesforce ecosystem. In this position, you will utilize Salesforce CPQ as our source of truth, bringing a deep understanding of usage-based models and billing processes. Your expertise will encompass usage rating, order orchestration, activation, revenue recognition, invoice generation, payment processing, and general ledger management. You will collaborate closely with our Revenue Excellence team and cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Finance, Sales, Analytics, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to ensure Salesforce serves as the central source of truth across the organization. This high-visibility role offers an incredible opportunity to drive impact and value quickly, as you will be responsible for ensuring the technical excellence of your team and the services you own through design reviews, code reviews, and the approval process. As a Salesforce Architect, you will define and drive the architecture and technical strategy for Salesforce CRM and related systems, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. You will lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure solutions that integrate seamlessly with other enterprise systems, spearhead key strategic initiatives, and mentor a team of engineers while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Your role will also involve addressing complex technical challenges, establishing governance frameworks, and contributing to the broader tech community by sharing best practices and insights on Salesforce technology and architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the architecture and technical strategy for Salesforce CRM and related systems.
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure solutions that integrate seamlessly with other enterprise systems.
  • Spearhead key strategic initiatives, such as process automation and data integration efforts, to enhance operational efficiency and business agility.
  • Work closely with executive and senior leadership across the organization to identify and prioritize key projects, providing technical expertise and strategic insights.
  • Mentor and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Address and resolve high-impact, complex technical challenges, ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of Salesforce and its integrations.
  • Establish and enforce governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards, data privacy regulations, and internal policies.
  • Contribute to the broader tech community by sharing best practices, participating in industry events, and publishing insights on Salesforce technology and architecture.
  • Take full ownership of the Salesforce ecosystem, driving enhancements and optimizations to meet evolving business needs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture, including deep knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex, scalable solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, particularly in the context of billing, revenue recognition, and order management.
  • Ability to evaluate and compare alternative solutions based on cloud costs and performance implications.
  • Experience in setting and executing strategic technical visions, particularly in the context of complex Salesforce implementations and integrations.
  • Proven track record in leading and mentoring technical teams, with experience in building high-performing engineering teams.
  • Expertise in integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems, utilizing APIs, middleware, and IPaaS solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to tackle complex technical challenges, particularly related to performance optimization, scalability, and system resilience.
  • Salesforce Developer I & II certifications required; Salesforce System Architect and/or Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification highly preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2nd Generation Managed Package experience is a plus.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and managing data flows across multiple platforms.
  • Advanced Certifications such as Salesforce Technical Architect or Application Architect are a plus.
  • Experience with Copado for Salesforce DevOps practices.
