The Salesforce Architect will also identify and evaluate potential Proof of Concept (POC) opportunities based on business needs, technology trends, and emerging solutions. They will work with product teams to develop and implement POC plans, including defining objectives, scope, resources, and timelines. Evaluating POC results, assessing feasibility and potential impact, and making recommendations for further development or adoption will be key responsibilities. Collaboration with stakeholders across the organization to gather input, communicate architectural decisions, and ensure alignment with business and customer needs will be essential. Additionally, the architect will lead the development of Salesforce architecture documentation, including models, diagrams, and specifications, with a focus on architecture artifacts and documentation. Staying abreast of emerging Salesforce and related software technologies, trends, and best practices will help identify potential opportunities for innovation and improvement. The architect will participate in the management of the enterprise architecture repository, ensuring data integrity and accessibility, particularly for software architecture-related information. They will provide guidance and support to product development teams during the development, implementation, and integration of new software solutions, and conduct regular reviews of the Salesforce architecture to assess its effectiveness and identify areas for improvement, specifically in the context of software architecture and development practices.
