About the position

The Salesforce Architect will serve as the technical lead on Salesforce projects, delivering enterprise cloud technology solutions. This role involves overseeing the development team, ensuring best practices are followed, and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders to meet project objectives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead on Salesforce projects delivering enterprise cloud technology solutions.
• Lead the Salesforce Development Team in designing and developing Salesforce custom solutions using Apex, Visual Force, Salesforce APIs, Lightning, and data migration.
• Oversee the development work of junior developers and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing, and deployment.
• Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to respond quickly to changing project requirements and customer objectives.
• Interact directly with clients, managers, and end users to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces and customized applications.
• Assist the Support Team with escalated issues related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, and workflows.
• Facilitate solution design sessions and code reviews, advocate for Salesforce best practices, and create architectural designs.
• Provide estimates of work effort for new projects and enhancements, design, code, and test solutions, and analyze issues identified during testing.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and support an iterative software development methodology.
• Facilitate and actively participate in meetings with representatives from business and/or IT units.
• Take accountability for the quality of deliverables, provide status updates on development efforts, and ensure timely delivery as per specifications.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and services, including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Partner Communities, B2B Commerce, and Service Cloud.
• Expertise in data modeling, integration, security, and customization.
• Proficient in Apex, VisualForce, Lightning, Java, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming methodology and Salesforce best practices.
• Previous experience with Azure DevOps, DX, Tricentis Tosca, and Oracle SOA is a plus.
