About the position

The Salesforce Architect is responsible for translating complex business requirements into tailored systems and applications, focusing on financial modeling and service solutions. This role involves analyzing customer service needs, constructing detailed solutions, and providing expert guidance on Salesforce implementations, particularly in the context of a Grants Management System. The architect will ensure alignment with Salesforce best practices and oversee the technical roadmap while leveraging low-code approaches and third-party solutions.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into specific systems and applications designs.
• Analyze customer service requirements and design service solutions.
• Construct detailed solutions including scope documents, risk profiles, and financial models.
• Participate in the construction of detailed financial models for complex service proposals.
• Compose Statements of Work and other documents using departmental automation tools.
• Act as a trusted expert advisor for technical services to internal and external customers.
• Ensure solutions align with Salesforce best practices and adopt a low-code approach where appropriate.
• Oversee the technical roadmap of the Grants Management System application.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience with Enterprise and Software engineering using recognized approaches such as SEI or TOGAF.
• 8 years of experience as an Enterprise or Software Architect for systems implemented in Salesforce.
• 8 years of experience integrating data, applications, services, and technologies into a Salesforce solution including MuleSoft.
• 8 years of experience delivering low-code solutions in Salesforce that minimize customized code.
• 8 years of experience in troubleshooting and solving complex problems related to system software and hardware.
• 8 years of experience managing and overseeing the support of Salesforce Orgs and its environments.
• 8 years of experience integrating non-Salesforce applications and services, including REST APIs, Visualforce, LWC, Aura, Apex, HTML5, and JavaScript.

Nice-to-haves

• 8 years of experience in Salesforce implementation and development, including writing Apex programming and Visualforce pages.
• Knowledge in implementing solutions using configurations such as Flows, process builders, and workflow rules.
• 2 years of experience in Agile Software Development Methodologies.
• 2 years of experience in Cloud Architecture (Azure, AWS, etc.).
