About the position

The Salesforce Solution Architect will be responsible for building and delivering intelligent and robust Salesforce solutions for clients in the Charlotte area. This role serves as a bridge between clients and the internal development team, ensuring the delivery of complex Salesforce solutions while managing client expectations and leading development teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting Salesforce solutions and a passion for solving complex technology problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, architect, and deliver high-quality client engagements and outcomes.
• Manage the technical delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions, including custom development, integrations, and data migration.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop well-architected solutions.
• Advise on technical best practices for solution design and create prototypes and proof of concepts.
• Coordinate the implementation of custom solutions and interfaces leveraging the Salesforce platform.
• Provide expert-level assistance to developers for technical issues and ensure quality design patterns are followed.
• Manage the execution of test plans to ensure quality solutions are delivered.
• Manage client expectations and scope to ensure joint success for the client and Slalom teams.
• Demonstrate platform thought leadership and help clients explore the art of the possible with Salesforce.
• Identify new opportunities for growth of Salesforce offerings within existing and new clients.
• Provide expertise during sales efforts to define high-level solutions and estimate technical effort.
• Collaborate with account executives to cultivate new business opportunities.
• Coach and mentor junior resources on Salesforce projects.
• Develop and support initiatives to build and develop the team's capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience architecting Salesforce technical solutions.
• Experience providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring for project teams.
• Proven ability to design and optimize business processes across disparate systems.
• Expert understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Experience with Salesforce industry solutions such as Financial Services Cloud and Health Cloud.
• Configuration experience using the Salesforce point-and-click interface.
• Conversational knowledge of programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform, including Apex and Lightning Web Components.
• Experience with Salesforce data loader for data migration activities.
• Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems.
• Understanding of Salesforce environment management and deployment methodologies.
• Experience with platform security capabilities and authentication patterns.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum.
• Functional and technical understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and other Cloud Computing Services.
