The Salesforce Architect position at VDart Group is a critical role that involves leading enterprise-level Salesforce projects across Sales, Service, and Community Cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both waterfall and agile software development methodologies, demonstrating a successful track record throughout the entire project lifecycle. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce configuration, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls, to ensure that the system meets business needs effectively. In this position, the Salesforce Architect will be responsible for defining business requirements, writing user stories, and providing detailed system and functional designs for Salesforce implementations. The candidate will document current state business processes and wireframe system designs using various tools such as process flow diagrams, UML, and sequence diagrams. Additionally, the architect will make recommendations for future state improvements in processes and system designs, ensuring alignment with business objectives. A key aspect of this role is the ability to define the system architecture landscape, identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver comprehensive solutions that enable the achievement of desired business outcomes. The architect will leverage their strong Salesforce Service and Community Cloud experience, particularly in integration, to design and develop software components while maintaining a robust background in database design and system architecture. The position also requires expertise in environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, with a graduate degree preferred. With over 10 years of direct experience in the software development life cycle and 5-6 years specifically in Salesforce configuration and CRM system implementation, the architect will oversee the direction, development, and implementation of CRM software solutions. Salesforce certification is preferred, along with direct, hands-on experience with automated software development tools and a strong knowledge of CRM software quality assurance best practices and methodologies. Excellent communication, presentation, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
