About the position

As a Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud Architect at Deloitte, you will play a pivotal role in enabling client solutions through digital technologies, particularly in the realm of eCommerce. The Digital Web team collaborates with clients to design, implement, and deploy eCommerce and Portal solutions that enhance online marketing, sales, and service capabilities for both Direct-To-Consumer and Business-to-Business models. Your expertise will guide clients in defining their eCommerce requirements, leading workshops to understand their current processes and technology landscape, and supporting the implementation of tailored solutions. In this role, you will leverage your digital expertise to lead and support technical teams in architecting, building, and deploying unique eCommerce solutions. You will act as a leader on client projects, facilitating discovery workshops both on-site and remotely, and mentoring junior staff. Your responsibilities will include identifying client process pain points, understanding CloudCraze architecture, and communicating platform capabilities and limitations effectively to clients. You will also be responsible for developing integrations for Salesforce-based applications and ensuring adherence to established development standards and best practices. The Advertising, Marketing & Commerce team at Deloitte focuses on delivering marketing and growth objectives that align with clients' brand values. This involves creating engaging content and experiences, implementing technology platforms for personalized marketing, and transforming clients' operations into data-driven organizations. You will contribute to various projects, including cross-channel customer engagement strategies, eCommerce implementations, and marketing analytics, all aimed at driving measurable business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support technical teams to architect, build, create, and deploy unique eCommerce solutions for clients.
  • Facilitate working sessions to define eCommerce requirements and understand clients' current processes and technology.
  • Lead project discovery workshops, both on-site and remotely.
  • Act in a leadership role on client projects and mentor junior staff.
  • Identify client process pain points and gaps in best practices.
  • Understand CloudCraze architecture and recommend best practices.
  • Communicate platform capabilities and limitations to clients effectively.
  • Develop integrations for Salesforce-based applications and improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT experience
  • 2+ years Salesforce.com Development experience or equivalent certification
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud Solution (Cloud Craze)
  • Ability to travel 50% on average based on work and client needs
  • Hands-on CloudCraze development experience and system administration
  • In-depth understanding of CloudCraze architecture, data models, customizations, and extensions
  • Extensive experience in developing integrated execution plans including resource leveling and effort estimations
  • Experience implementing large scale eCommerce solutions including enterprise architecture and ERP integration
  • Strong knowledge of designing Architecture Diagrams and Data flows
  • Knowledge of End to End Order Management lifecycle
  • Experience with RESTful Service Architecture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
