About the position

As a Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud Architect at Deloitte, you will play a pivotal role in enabling client solutions through digital technologies. Deloitte Digital offers a range of services that encompass web, mobile, social networking, digital strategy, digital content, and digital ERP. The Digital Web team collaborates with clients to advise, design, implement, and deploy eCommerce and portal solutions. Our eCommerce capabilities are designed to provide transactional solutions that enhance online marketing, sales, and service for both Direct-To-Consumer and Business-to-Business models. Additionally, our portal capabilities focus on delivering intranet and internet solutions that enhance content presentation and transaction capabilities for both internal enterprises and customer-facing purposes. In this role, you will leverage your digital expertise to lead and support technical teams in architecting, building, creating, and deploying unique eCommerce solutions tailored to each client’s needs. You will facilitate working sessions to help clients define their eCommerce requirements, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their current processes and technology in the eCommerce space. Your responsibilities will include leading project discovery workshops, both on-site and remotely, and acting in a leadership capacity on client projects while mentoring junior staff. You will identify client process pain points and gaps in best practices, and you will need to have a solid understanding of CloudCraze architecture, including service layers, logic layers, and data layers, to recommend best practices effectively. Your role will also involve communicating platform capabilities and limitations to clients, ensuring they are well-informed throughout the process. You will be expected to adhere to established Salesforce and CloudCraze development standards and best practices while developing integrations for Salesforce-based applications and improvements. This position is part of the Advertising, Marketing & Commerce team, which focuses on delivering marketing and growth objectives aligned with clients' brand values, ultimately driving measurable business growth. You will engage in various types of work, including cross-channel customer engagement strategies, eCommerce strategy implementation, marketing content management, and marketing analytics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support technical teams to architect, build, create, and deploy unique eCommerce solutions for clients.
  • Facilitate working sessions to define eCommerce requirements and understand clients' current processes and technology.
  • Lead project discovery workshops, both on-site and remotely.
  • Act in a leadership role on client projects and mentor junior staff.
  • Identify client process pain points and gaps in best practices.
  • Understand CloudCraze architecture, data models, customizations, and extensions, and recommend best practices.
  • Communicate platform capabilities and limitations to clients effectively.
  • Follow established Salesforce and CloudCraze development standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT experience.
  • 2+ years of Salesforce.com Development experience or completion of Salesforce.com Developer Course 401 (or equivalent).
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud Solution (Cloud Craze).
  • Ability to travel 50% on average based on work and client needs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hands-on CloudCraze development experience and system administration.
  • In-depth understanding of CloudCraze architecture, data models, customizations, and extensions.
  • Well-versed with Salesforce security model and Community features.
