About the position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and the business, ensuring that technology solutions align with business needs. This position involves analyzing data, managing projects, and supporting the development of systems that enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Analyze existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop detailed functional specifications and use cases for new system features.
- Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by working closely with development teams.
- Utilize SQL for data extraction and analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Design and implement ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Conduct testing of new systems or enhancements to ensure they meet business requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation related to project management, system design, and user training.
- Utilize tools such as Talend for data integration tasks.
- Provide ongoing support and training to end-users on new systems or processes.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SDLC methodologies, ensuring effective project execution.
- Strong SQL skills for database querying and analysis.
- Experience with ETL processes and tools, particularly Talend.
- Ability to vaticinate future trends based on current data analysis.
- Knowledge of database design principles and server management.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of leading initiatives from inception to completion.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as R for statistical analysis is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
