About the position

The Salesforce Cloud Architect will lead the Salesforce Development Team in designing and developing custom Salesforce solutions. This role involves overseeing junior developers, ensuring best practices are followed, and collaborating with project managers and clients to meet project objectives. The architect will also assist with escalated support issues and facilitate solution design sessions while maintaining a flexible work environment to adapt to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Salesforce Development Team in the design and development of Salesforce custom solutions.
• Oversee the development work of junior developers and ensure the use of best practices in all development efforts.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and other developers to design cohesive project strategies.
• Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements.
• Interact directly with clients, managers, and end users to analyze project objectives and capability requirements.
• Assist the Support Team with escalated issues arising from support of internal and customer-facing Salesforce environments.
• Facilitate solution design sessions and code reviews, advocating Salesforce best practices.
• Provide estimates of work effort for new projects and enhancements, and design, code, and test solutions.
• Follow an iterative software development methodology and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Take accountability for quality of deliverables, provide status on development effort, and deliver on time.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and services, including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Partner Communities, B2B Commerce, and Service Cloud.
• Expertise in data modeling, integration, security, and customization.
• Proficient with Apex, Visual Force, Lightning, Java, and JavaScript.
• Proficient with Object Oriented Programming methodology and Salesforce best practices.
• Previous experience with Azure DevOps, DX, Tricentis Tosca, Oracle SOA is a plus.
