About the position

The Salesforce Cloud Developer position at IVA'AL Solutions, LLC is a full-time role that focuses on supporting Salesforce implementation efforts while providing guidance to junior team members. The developer will leverage both configuration-based approaches and custom development techniques, such as APEX and VisualForce, to deliver effective solutions. This role requires the development of technical plans, approaches, and related system documentation, ensuring that all work produced aligns with Federal security standards, including FISMA and the Digital Service Playbook. The developer will be responsible for meeting engineering, design, and coding deliverable deadlines throughout the project lifecycle, performing unit, side effect, and system testing of solutions as necessary, and following Agile IT methodologies. In this role, the developer will optimize across the Salesforce ecosystem and demonstrate technical expertise in multiple Salesforce products, including ServiceCloud and Communities. The position requires a strong understanding of Salesforce APIs for integration purposes and the ability to customize and configure Salesforce using declarative tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules. The developer will also need to have a solid grasp of Salesforce security features, including roles, profiles, sharing rules, and permission sets. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, particularly in debugging and performance tuning of Salesforce applications, and will be familiar with best practices for error handling. Collaboration is key in this role, as the developer will work in Agile/Scrum environments and utilize collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and Slack. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members. Additionally, the candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance, which is a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Support Salesforce implementation efforts and provide guidance to junior team members.
  • Leverage configuration-based approaches and custom development (e.g., APEX/VisualForce) to deliver solutions.
  • Develop technical plans, approaches, and related system documentation.
  • Optimize across the Salesforce ecosystem and demonstrate technical expertise in multiple Salesforce products (e.g., ServiceCloud, Communities).
  • Produce work consistent with Federal security standards (e.g., FISMA) and development guidelines (e.g., Digital Service Playbook).
  • Meet engineering, design, and coding deliverable deadlines throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform unit, side effect, and system testing of solutions where necessary.
  • Follow Agile IT methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited US college or university.
  • US Citizen.
  • Minimum 3 years Salesforce Developer Experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Apex programming, including triggers, controllers, and batch processing.
  • Experience in building custom user interfaces using Visualforce.
  • Proficiency in developing Lightning web components (LWC) and Aura components.
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming) for integration purposes.
  • Expertise in using Salesforce declarative tools such as Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules.
  • Understanding of Salesforce security features, including roles, profiles, sharing rules, and permission sets.
  • Experience with integration middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft).
  • Knowledge of integrating Salesforce with external services and systems (ERP, marketing automation, etc.).
  • Strong skills in debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of Salesforce applications.
  • Knowledge of best practices for error handling in Salesforce.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Slack.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
