About the position
Peoplevisor is seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) Developer to play a critical role in software delivery teams. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing features within Salesforce Commerce Cloud, utilizing a variety of technical skills to meet business requirements and ensure high-quality digital consumer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Implement new features using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) scripting language based on JavaScript
- Implement front-end features using jQuery library
- Create and maintain code documentation
- Debug and troubleshoot software defects
- Implement Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of SFCC to meet expected quality standards
- Participate in Agile sprints and design, develop, test and implement changes as defined by business requirements
- Implement proofs of concept to prove new technologies or integration scenarios
- Integrate commerce cloud with 3rd party/back-end systems leveraging link cartridge/OCAPI/custom services
- Diagnose and solve technical problems during implementation and support phases
- Help team/client with Business Manager configuration and administration
- Build reusable cartridge/components
- Implement build and release management using CI/CD strategies
- Lead discussions with internal business partners to identify needs and translate business requirements into functional specifications
Requirements
- Salesforce Certified Commerce Cloud Digital Developer
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of developer experience within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware)
- 2+ years of experience in a client facing role
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (both server and client side) and at least one other major programming language
- Experience working in all phases of the software development life-cycle
- Solid understanding of basic eCommerce concepts
- Experience with supporting and/or implementing public-facing eCommerce websites
- Strong experience on major eCommerce platforms
- Self-driven and motivated
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
