About the position

Peoplevisor is seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) Developer to play a critical role in software delivery teams. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing features within Salesforce Commerce Cloud, utilizing a variety of technical skills to meet business requirements and ensure high-quality digital consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Implement new features using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) scripting language based on JavaScript
• Implement front-end features using jQuery library
• Create and maintain code documentation
• Debug and troubleshoot software defects
• Implement Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of SFCC to meet expected quality standards
• Participate in Agile sprints and design, develop, test and implement changes as defined by business requirements
• Implement proofs of concept to prove new technologies or integration scenarios
• Integrate commerce cloud with 3rd party/back-end systems leveraging link cartridge/OCAPI/custom services
• Diagnose and solve technical problems during implementation and support phases
• Help team/client with Business Manager configuration and administration
• Build reusable cartridge/components
• Implement build and release management using CI/CD strategies
• Lead discussions with internal business partners to identify needs and translate business requirements into functional specifications

Requirements

• Salesforce Certified Commerce Cloud Digital Developer
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of developer experience within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware)
• 2+ years of experience in a client facing role
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (both server and client side) and at least one other major programming language
• Experience working in all phases of the software development life-cycle
• Solid understanding of basic eCommerce concepts
• Experience with supporting and/or implementing public-facing eCommerce websites
• Strong experience on major eCommerce platforms
• Self-driven and motivated
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
