About the position

The Salesforce CPQ & Billing Architect role is focused on leveraging advanced Salesforce CPQ and Billing functionalities to enhance application development. This position requires a deep understanding of CPQ processes, integration strategies, and the ability to work with various Salesforce components to optimize quoting and billing experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Salesforce CPQ and Billing solutions.
• Integrate Tax and Subledger systems with Salesforce CPQ.
• Manage Amendments and Cancellations processes within CPQ.
• Create and maintain Product Rules and Pricing Rules.
• Develop CPQ Pricing Scripts and Advanced Approvals.
• Implement Vertex Integration for tax calculations.
• Handle Credit Notes, Debit Notes, and Payments processing.
• Utilize REST and SOAP protocols for system integrations.
• Work with Lightning components and ensure effective component communication.
• Conduct CPQ Product Modeling to enhance quoting and billing processes.
• Develop using APEX and manage API integrations.

Requirements

• Architect level experience in Salesforce CPQ application development.
• Strong experience in Salesforce CPQ and Billing functionalities.
• Knowledge of Tax and Subledger integrations.
• Expertise in Amendments and Cancellations processes.
• Proficient in Product Rules, Pricing Rules, and CPQ Pricing Scripts.
• Experience with Advanced Approvals and Vertex Integration.
• Strong integration knowledge with REST and SOAP protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Lightning components and their communication.
• Proficient in jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML, and DHTML.
• Experience with Salesforce.com API and ETL integrations.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Batch Schedulers and Queueable jobs.
• Experience with Lightning Web Components.
