About the position

The Senior Salesforce CPQ Developer role is focused on leveraging Salesforce CPQ to enhance sales processes within a high-growth environment. The position requires strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The developer will be responsible for creating comprehensive technical documentation and implementing Salesforce solutions, ensuring a robust understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and its applications.

Responsibilities

  • Create necessary technical documentation including high-level systems design, low-level systems design, system landscape, entity relationship diagrams, and configuration workbooks.
  • Engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions.
  • Implement Salesforce CPQ solutions in a high-growth environment, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Manage the lifecycle of development including Salesforce Deployment/Packaging using Metadata API and Change Sets.
  • Implement Salesforce Portal (Community portal), Service Console, and Lightning components as required.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, JavaScript, LWC, and other Salesforce technologies.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience with Salesforce CPQ in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience in Salesforce administration and applications like Financial Force and Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience with at least three full implementations of Salesforce CPQ.
  • Knowledge of security and governance including profiles, permission sets, data visibility, and sharing settings.
  • Experience with the lifecycle of development including Salesforce Deployment/Packaging using Metadata API and Change Sets.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce platform concepts and development including Apex, JavaScript, controllers, triggers, configuration, LWC, Salesforce flows, batch processes, Lightning, SOQL, REST APIs, and web services.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, architecture, and data models.
