The Salesforce CPQ Developer position is a contract role based in Raleigh, NC, focusing on a significant initiative centered around Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) and Salesforce. This role is expected to last for six months initially, with the potential for conversion to a permanent position for strong candidates. The developer will be part of the Enterprise Systems team, specifically supporting the Conga CLM & CPQ application within the Salesforce platform. This position is critical as it will lead a team that supports a CPQ system projected to drive over a billion dollars in revenue. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of hands-on experience with Salesforce.com, demonstrating proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and the Lightning Framework (both Aura and LWC). Experience with data migration using Data Loader and declarative platform tools such as Flows and Lightning Builder is also essential. Additionally, candidates should have at least one year of hands-on experience with X-Author, including building and updating complex Excel and Word templates, as well as integrating through Apttus (Conga) CPQ APIs. A solid understanding of product configuration management and pricing management is crucial for success in this role. The role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work independently in an Agile environment. The developer will be responsible for knowledge transfer to full-time team members and providing consultative suggestions based on past experiences. The ability to convert small business problem statements into product-based deliverables with minimal supervision is a key aspect of the job.
