About the position

The Salesforce CPQ Developer role at HAYS involves developing and implementing solutions using Salesforce CPQ and Billing. The position requires strong technical skills in CPQ product modeling, integration, and coding methodologies, along with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The developer will be responsible for producing high-quality code, system design documents, and leading technical walkthroughs while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions using Salesforce CPQ and Billing.
• Integrate Salesforce CPQ with other systems using REST and SOAP protocols.
• Produce system design documents and lead technical walkthroughs.
• Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
• Continuously improve the architecture of the CPQ system.
• Coach and review code for team members.
• Produce high-quality code and ensure best practices in deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in application development using Salesforce CPQ.
• Strong expertise in Lightning Web Components, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML, and DHTML.
• Experience with Salesforce API, SOAP messaging, and ETL integrations.
• Proficient in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile and Test-driven development.
• Hands-on APEX development experience.
• Experience in the highly regulated financial industry and SOX compliance.
