About the position

As a Steampunk Salesforce Technical Architect, you will be responsible for crafting and executing innovative solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform. This role involves blending declarative and programmatic development, overseeing the development of solutions focused on call center support and integration, and leading code reviews. You will play a crucial role in delivering cutting-edge solutions to clients while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within your teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test and deploy high quality Salesforce call center solutions utilizing SFDC best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within your teams.
  • Support business customers closely with support and remediation for bugs/outages.
  • Implement O&M plans for existing solutions, including development of new features and functionality based on the product backlog.
  • Collaborate with fellow architects to creatively solve client problems across the business.
  • Identify and develop reusable assets and accelerators based on recurring client themes.
  • Communicate project status and blockers to client stakeholders.
  • Implement CTI capabilities within Salesforce, including Service Cloud Voice and MuleSoft APIs.
  • Maintain Salesforce credentials and stay current on the latest force.com technologies.
  • Develop solutions which adhere to Salesforce platform governor limits and performance best practices.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and technical developers to bridge the gap between functional requirements and product delivery.
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients to enable the delivery of innovative and high-quality Salesforce solutions.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
  • Experience implementing AWS Connect
  • Proficiency with declarative Salesforce development, including objects, Flows, process builders, and approval processes
  • Experience with Call Center implementations leveraging Service Cloud and Service Console
  • Proven knowledge and practical application of Salesforce development, including Lightning, Apex, and force.com APIs
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quickly
  • Functional knowledge of Salesforce data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements
  • Ability to work across multiple projects/priorities while maintaining sound development practices.

  • Experience with Federal Government customers and contracts
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies

  • Experience with GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Checkmarx
  • Unique combination of being business-minded and highly analytical with a strong technical background in Salesforce
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
