As the Salesforce Data Analyst, you will provide support to the Development Team to facilitate the management of Salesforce and Digital interface as it relates to Direct Response and will work closely with IT to troubleshoot technical issues. This role will be responsible for understanding Salesforce Direct Response Source Codes, campaign record types, mailing packages, back-end premium data structure and processing requirements. In addition, the role will create and run reports in Salesforce, create campaigns, monitor automated data processing jobs and act as the point person for Development vendors in all Direct Response fundraising functions related to file transfers. This role is part technical, part administrator, part Salesforce analyst and 100% dedicated to our mission. This position is approximately 20 hours per week and has geographic flexibility, allowing it to be performed remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Development Team for managing Salesforce and Digital interface related to Direct Response.
  • Understand Salesforce Direct Response source codes, campaign record types, mailing packages, and back-end premium data structure.
  • Create fiscal year development campaigns and send fulfillment vendor new campaign source codes.
  • Validate and process source code updates, process/post mailed to, and NCOA; manage Donor Ambassador Program interactions and bio updates.
  • Monitor email for status of Informatica jobs, troubleshoot any issues with IT, and maintain data integrity.
  • Run weekly reports and data sync back to Luminate, maintaining Luminate data sync reports.
  • Maintain/create all vendor reports and processing instructions for vendors like Moore, DMP, and DataAxle.
  • Provide DMP batch removal support upon request and understand Merged Contact Details and Merged Contact Reference objects in Salesforce.
  • Run daily clouding filters and merge duplicates with appropriate merge rules, creating/refining filters as necessary.
  • Act as the point person for Development Salesforce reports and questions, performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics or related field required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a Salesforce role working in a fundraising environment.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Non-Profit Starter Pack and Direct Response marketing.
  • Proven experience with creating Salesforce Campaigns, Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, and running/editing reports.
  • Knowledge of the use of Cloudingo to merge Accounts and Contacts.
  • Familiarity with Luminate and keen interest in data integrity and business unit data.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of discretion and attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinker with superior problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision and manage multiple workflows.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of declarative lookup rollup summaries is a plus.
  • Comfortable around large, active dogs.
