About The Position
CHN Housing Partners is seeking a Salesforce Data Analyst to join our growing team in Detroit, Michigan. As a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing affordable housing challenges, we are looking for a candidate who is passionate about using data to drive decision-making and improve program outcomes. The Salesforce Data Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing data quality and reporting for the Detroit Housing Network. This position involves analyzing and interpreting data, identifying trends and patterns, and producing insightful reports that support our mission of serving low-income families and under-served communities. In this role, you will collaborate closely with program staff and leadership to identify key metrics and track progress. You will assist the Data and Evaluation Manager with ongoing reporting and evaluation requirements, ensuring that our data-driven approach is effective and impactful. Your responsibilities will include developing reports and analytic dashboards to monitor workflows, production reporting, and funder impact reporting. You will also support the Salesforce team in maintaining data governance, focusing on data integrity, normalization, cleansing, and user education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and business analysis, with a minimum of two years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a nonprofit or social impact organization. You will be expected to create and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries and quality guidelines, and work with the Salesforce Administrator to develop automations and data validation requirements. Staying up-to-date with best practices and emerging trends in data analysis and reporting will be essential to your success in this role.
