About the position

The Salesforce Data Cloud Architect is responsible for designing and implementing data architecture strategies using Salesforce Data Cloud to support Customer 360 initiatives. This role involves aligning business processes with Salesforce capabilities, ensuring data quality and integrity, and leveraging AI for predictive analytics. The architect will lead data integration efforts, develop data governance practices, and empower stakeholders with actionable insights from consolidated data sources.

Responsibilities

• Match business process and automation requirements to the capabilities of SFDC, including data model, role hierarchy, sharing and security model.
• Provide functional architecture strategy and guidance for all SFDC rollouts, including Design-for-adoption strategy.
• Design the overall data architecture using Salesforce Data Cloud as the central repository to support Customer 360 Data Manager.
• Review functional design for initiatives and lead defining development standards and best practices.
• Conduct research into clients' use of Salesforce, producing a report of findings with recommended steps and a roadmap for Salesforce solutions.
• Lead and advise customers on best practices around data cleansing and transforming raw data using Data workflow.
• Develop integration strategies to unify disparate data systems to create a single source of truth across the organization.
• Collaborate with data stewards and architects to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity within the Data Cloud platform.
• Implement AI-powered insights within Salesforce Data Cloud for predictive analytics and decision support.
• Ensure real-time data processing is established for immediate data availability across systems.
• Customize data security frameworks to safeguard sensitive information and maintain data integrity and compliance.
• Empower data-driven decision-making by providing stakeholders with access to comprehensive analytics and insights.
• Streamline operational efficiency through automation of data-related workflows and optimization of data access.
• Prepare the organization for AI-readiness by establishing data collection and management practices.
• Design and refine data ingestion strategies to capture and funnel data into the Data Cloud.
• Develop data transformation logic and formulas to cleanse and enrich raw data.
• Create and manage robust data models that align with the organization's analytics needs.
• Devise mapping strategies for Data Lake Objects to Data Model Objects, ensuring logical data flow.
• Establish best practices for data governance, stewardship, and architecture within the Data Cloud environment.
• Provide technical leadership in the selection and application of data management tools.

Requirements

• Salesforce Data Cloud experience with Data Cloud Certification required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a related field.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Finance, or a similar field preferred.
• Active participation in the Salesforce community.
• Certifications in Admin and Developer roles.
