About the position

The Salesforce DevSecOps Engineer at COUNTRY Financial is responsible for enhancing the reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of the Salesforce platform through effective DevOps practices. This role involves collaboration with various teams to streamline processes, automate deployments, and optimize the Salesforce environment to meet business and technology objectives. The position offers a hybrid work schedule and can be based in Bloomington, IL, Alpharetta, GA, or Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

  • Design solutions after gathering business and technical requirements.
  • Develop high-performing software solutions that meet technical standards.
  • Support testing and problem solving/debugging of solutions.
  • Implement software solutions following best practices.
  • Provide thought leadership for DevSecOps trends and best practices.
  • Create, execute, and maintain a roadmap to incorporate appropriate trends and practices.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications and configurations.
  • Automate deployment processes to ensure consistent and efficient releases across environments.
  • Evaluate and recommend DevOps tools and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Provide guidance on standards for new code adherence, including design patterns and naming conventions.
  • Assist with re-factoring existing code to adhere to new standards.
  • Work closely with development teams, Salesforce administrators, and security teams for seamless integration and delivery of Salesforce applications.
  • Set up and maintain Salesforce sandbox environments for development, testing, and staging purposes.
  • Seed sandbox environments with masked test data to ensure data privacy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues, lead root cause analysis, and optimize performance with engineers, administrators, developers, and business stakeholders.
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce metadata, including custom objects, fields, workflows, process builder, and validation rules.

  • Typically requires 7 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
