About the position
The Salesforce Software Developer / Administrator will support the Master Data Management Customer Registry program in preparation for the Encino implementation. This role involves configuring Salesforce to integrate customer data from various systems and ensuring data accuracy and consistency. The position is primarily focused on Salesforce administrative functions with some development responsibilities, requiring collaboration with other development staff and participation in design and code reviews.
Responsibilities
- Acquire and interpret business requirements, create functional specifications, and provide accurate estimates for deliverables.
- Design application and database components for Salesforce projects.
- Perform analysis of business models and customer requirements to design and build Salesforce solutions.
- Provide generalized production technical support and mitigate technical risks associated with projects.
- Guide the team in translating requirements into Salesforce configuration and identify areas for custom development/integration.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce applications, making approved changes and documenting them accordingly.
- Provide support for critical application problems and act as a Subject Matter Expert in resolving production issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts and application super users to successfully complete projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years' experience working on all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- 2+ years development experience on the Salesforce platform, including Visual Force, JavaScript, Apex controllers, and standard SFDC components.
- 2+ years experience in building queries using SOQL or SOSL.
- 2+ years experience with Service Cloud and 1+ years experience with data migration using App Exchange Data Loader.
- Experience with Visual Studio and TFS in an agile/scrum team setting.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
