About the position

The Salesforce Developer/Admin role is focused on developing and managing Salesforce applications and systems. The position requires strong technical skills in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components, as well as proficiency in declarative programming and API integrations. The role also involves ensuring data security and management, creating reports and dashboards, and utilizing CI/CD tools for deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Implement declarative programming solutions using Process Builder, Flow, and Validation Rules.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Manage Salesforce security, data management, and sharing rules.
  • Create and optimize reports, dashboards, and SOQL/SOSL queries.
  • Utilize Salesforce Platform Events, Triggers, and Batch Apex for application functionality.
  • Implement CI/CD practices using tools like Jenkins, Gearset, or Salesforce DX.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Salesforce development using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce declarative programming (e.g., Process Builder, Flow, Validation Rules).
  • Experience with Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs and familiarity with API integration practices.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Security, Data Management, and Sharing & Visibility Rules.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Object Models, Reports, Dashboards, and SOQL/SOSL queries.
  • Experience with Salesforce Platform Events, Triggers, and Batch Apex.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gearset, or Salesforce DX for continuous deployment.
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following coding standards.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with Salesforce AppExchange and managed/unmanaged packages.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and other web technologies for front-end development.
