About the position

Fitch Group is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join its Business Applications team, which operates from Chicago, London, or Toronto. This role involves working within a high-performing Salesforce development team, collaborating closely with business applications leadership, decision-makers, and end users. The primary focus is on configuring and customizing Salesforce to meet business needs, while also contributing to the ongoing innovation and evolution of Fitch Technology's methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions to complex business and technical problems.
• Manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) release processes for efficient software delivery.
• Map business requirements to Salesforce features and functionality to align with organizational goals.
• Stay updated with Salesforce technology trends to maintain effective reference architecture.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce.
• Proficient in Salesforce Lightning and Lightning Web Component development.
• Experienced with version control systems and CI/CD release management.
• Experienced in working within an agile/scrum development process.
• Skilled in APEX triggers, classes, batch processes, and test methods.
• Proficient in REST API, SOAP API, and platform events.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team player.

Nice-to-haves

• Salesforce Admin certification preferred.
• Platform Developer I certification preferred.
