About the position

The Salesforce Developer position at Boeing in Englewood, CO is a hybrid role focused on developing critical external customer self-service and internal team capabilities for a global client organization. This is a contract-to-hire position lasting 6 months, requiring relocation for the successful candidate. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting software components on the Salesforce platform, with a strong emphasis on integration with multiple systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components for support and service capabilities built on the Salesforce platform.
  • Work with Solution Architect to define end-to-end solutions.
  • Create high fidelity designs for new components and experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and management.
  • Take ownership of a mission-critical 24x7x365 website/system, including on-call support.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software programming experience.
  • Full stack development experience with responsive applications using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and AJAX.
  • Experience leading the development of critical customer-facing websites.
  • Strong background with REST/SOAP APIs (XML, JSON).
  • Salesforce platform and development experience.
  • Experience with end-to-end system delivery from design to production operations.
  • Broad experience in designing, programming, and implementing large systems.
  • Strong Agile/Scrum experience, including coaching and use of JIRA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or related fields.
  • Salesforce certifications in Platform Development, Sales, Service, Experience, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience in vendor management as the primary contact to drive results of a blended team.
  • Software test and automation experience, including frameworks and load/performance testing.
  • Experience working on cloud frameworks (AWS or similar).
  • Management of a development team is a plus.
  • Project/Program management experience is a plus.
  • PHP, Angular, and Java skills are a plus.
