About the position

CompQsoft is seeking a Salesforce Developer with a strong background in DevSecOps to join their team in Herndon, VA. The role involves developing and implementing enterprise-level Salesforce projects, managing code merges, and deploying applications in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the software development lifecycle and proficiency in Salesforce technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise-level Salesforce projects throughout implementation lifecycles.
• Perform code merges of Salesforce git repositories, including conflict resolution.
• Deploy repositories to sandboxes and test environments.
• Write Visualforce, Apex classes/controllers, triggers, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Utilize related tools such as Data Loader, Workbench, and Salesforce Platform IDE.
• Work in an Agile development environment with multiple programming languages.
• Design, build, and implement custom applications using Salesforce's declarative customization capabilities.
• Create APIs using MuleSoft.
• Use Salesforce Lightning and Salesforce Maps for application development.
• Utilize deployment tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
• Conduct static code analysis using tools like SonarQube.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of continuous DevSecOps/merge experience or Master's Degree and 3 years of continuous DevSecOps/merge experience.
• At least 3 years of direct experience in the software development lifecycle.
• At least 2 years of experience in developing enterprise-level Salesforce projects with demonstrable success.
• Fluency in performing code merges of Salesforce git repositories.
• Experience deploying repositories to sandboxes and test environments.
• Proficiency in writing Visualforce, Apex classes/controllers, triggers, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Experience with related tools such as Data Loader, Workbench, and Salesforce Platform IDE.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment with modern programming languages.
• Experience designing and implementing custom applications on the Salesforce Platform.
• Experience with MuleSoft for API creation.
• Experience using Salesforce Lightning and Salesforce Maps.
• Experience with deployment tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
• Experience with static code analysis tools such as SonarQube.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Force.com/Salesforce Platform Advanced Developer (DEV 501).
• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I or equivalent experience.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
• Strong background in web application development using technologies such as Python/Django, Ruby/Rails, JavaScript/NodeJS.
• Hands-on, full life-cycle Salesforce implementation experience with expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Force.com.
• Experience developing applications in open languages on Heroku and integrating with Salesforce.
