About the position

The Salesforce Developer II at ICW Group is responsible for defining technical solutions to business problems across the Salesforce platform. This role involves leading the design, development, and support of Salesforce business applications, ensuring quality and success while redefining how customer relationships and data are managed. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, and it plays a crucial role in enhancing system performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and support of Salesforce business applications.
• Design and implement data structures, flows, Apex classes, and Lightning components.
• Ensure end-to-end solutions have technical integrity, stability, and scalability.
• Define scope and delivery of technical projects and develop enhancements.
• Make recommendations for system performance improvements and modifications.
• Manage a portfolio of technical projects for product expansion and deployments.
• Oversee deployment management processes and create detailed documentation.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to support the Salesforce platform.
• Translate business objectives into Salesforce technical solutions and system requirements.
• Communicate technical solutions and design tradeoffs to business stakeholders.
• Present complex solution options to key technical program stakeholders.
• Relay feedback for improvement on product features and functions.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to solve technical challenges.
• Deliver consultative and support services as a product expert.
• Identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
• Draft technical project instructions and systems integration documents.
• Set strategy and management plan for Salesforce environments.
• Coordinate with security teams for user management and SSO setup.
• Research and recommend new features from Salesforce releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience within the Salesforce platform.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with building/supporting enterprise integrations within Salesforce.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Service Cloud preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Financial Services industry preferred.
• Experience in Lightning Web Components preferred.
• Experience in multiple lightning migrations preferred.
• Experience in implementation of Service Cloud and/or Sales Cloud for multiple clients in financial services preferred.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification required.

Nice-to-haves

• Additional Salesforce certifications preferred.
• Experience with JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with Force.com declarative configuration and Apex/Lightning/API development.
