About the position

The Salesforce Developer position at Global Channel Management, Inc. is focused on designing, implementing, and supporting Salesforce solutions. The role requires a strong background in software development, particularly with Salesforce and Java, and involves working closely with project teams to enhance core applications and integrate Salesforce with other platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Support core applications, including providing fixes to production defects and making enhancements.
  • Quickly evaluate defects, investigate causes, and come up with solutions to address defects.
  • Develop, modify, and design software based on requirements/design specifications in Salesforce.
  • Support integrations like Qualtrics, MDM, etc.
  • Help define business and user needs and processes; identify solutions, work with project team/sponsors in identifying best solution.
  • Participate in requirements analysis; help design applications based on system requirements; promote top code quality and solve meaningful issues related to performance tuning and scalability.
  • Build enhancements within existing applications to optimize efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Working knowledge of Java.
  • Master's degree or similar in Information Technology/Computer Science.
  • Knowledge and experience in designing and implementing solutions in Salesforce along with integrating Salesforce to other platforms.
  • Salesforce Developer Certified (advanced certifications preferred).
  • CI/CD knowledge - Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Advanced proficiency with multiple programming languages.
  • Clear understanding of software development methodologies.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of Salesforce integrations.
  • Experience working in a scaled agile environment.
