About the position
The Salesforce Developer at Martin's Point Health Care plays a crucial role in implementing and enhancing business processes through the Salesforce platform. This position involves collaborating with the Salesforce Business Analyst to evaluate user stories and determine the best implementation strategies, utilizing both declarative development and custom coding. The developer is responsible for the development, testing, and deployment of solutions, ensuring they meet business needs while adhering to best practices.
Responsibilities
- Meet with Business Analyst to implement User Stories for small to medium sized projects
- Provide feedback on User Stories and help evaluate implementation approaches
- Perform advanced Salesforce Configuration, including modifying the object model and creating new Apps
- Automate processes through workflow rules, processes, and flows
- Write and edit Apex code for custom controllers, triggers, and classes
- Utilize CSS to control the look and feel of pages
- Write and edit JavaScript and utilize JavaScript libraries such as jQuery
- Participate in project design, testing, and implementation of Salesforce enhancements
- Utilize Apex Data Loader for bulk CRUD operations
- Document pre and post-deployment activities
- Execute Salesforce deployments through Changes Sets and Ant
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- 4+ years' experience developing on the Salesforce Platform
- Participation and completion of badges in Trailhead
- Experience using Apex Data Loader
- Experience using JavaScript and CSS on the Salesforce platform
- Experience deploying Salesforce changes via Change Sets and Ant
- Salesforce Certification(s), particularly Platform Developer 1 (can be completed post hire)
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Salesforce in the capacity of an Admin and/or Analyst
- Experience with an Agile methodology
- Participation in Salesforce User Groups and/or Conferences
