As a Salesforce Developer in the Risk Management department at Royal Caribbean Group, you will play a pivotal role in leading the database design and platform configuration of the Company's incident reporting and claims system utilizing the Salesforce.com platform. This position is highly technical and requires a keen attention to detail, as well as the ability to execute and follow up on multiple initiatives within the Risk Management department. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze, identify, develop, and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. You will serve as a trusted advisor to both your team and clients, and you will also take on the role of a mentor for other Salesforce professionals working alongside you. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of the Salesforce environment, which includes customizing and implementing profiles, roles, security settings, validation rules, applications, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflows, flows, approvals, dashboards, and reports. You will design quality, scalable, and performant solutions within Salesforce, ensuring that they are coherent and streamlined. Additionally, you will lead discovery sessions with business owners to understand existing and desired business processes, facilitating project scoping, requirements gathering, and solution architecting across multiple departments. Your ability to promote consistent design and best practice methodologies will be crucial in solving similar problems across various departments and Riskonnect applications. You will also be responsible for delivering high-quality documentation of business requirements and design specifications for implementation, as well as onboarding and off-boarding Salesforce users. Staying current on Salesforce.com best practices and technologies will be essential, as you will advise on these practices for Salesforce-based solutions. Training team members, both internal and external, in the use of complex systems will also be part of your responsibilities. You will monitor help tickets and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure timely resolution, and assist with department budgeting as necessary.
