About the position

The Salesforce Developer with Java position involves supporting core applications, addressing production defects, and enhancing existing software solutions. The role requires collaboration with project teams to define business needs and design applications that optimize performance and scalability within the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities

• Support core applications, including providing fixes to production defects and making enhancements.
• Quickly evaluate defects, investigate causes, and come up with solutions to address defects.
• Develop, modify, and design software based on requirements/design specifications in Salesforce.
• Support integrations like Qualtrics, MDM, etc.
• Help define business and user needs and processes; identify solutions, work with project team/sponsors in identifying the best solution.
• Participate in requirements analysis; help design applications based on system requirements; promote top code quality and solve meaningful issues related to performance tuning and scalability.
• Build enhancements within existing applications to optimize efficiency.

Requirements

• 5-7 years developing in the Salesforce platform.
• Working knowledge of Java.
• Master's degree or similar in Information Technology/Computer Science.
• Knowledge and experience in designing and implementing solutions in Salesforce along with integrating Salesforce to other platforms.
• Salesforce Developer Certified (advanced certifications preferred).
• CI/CD knowledge - Jenkins or similar tools.
• Advanced proficiency with multiple programming languages.
• Clear understanding of software development methodologies.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of Salesforce integrations.
• Worked in a scaled agile environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.
