About the position

OneOncology is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer for a 6-month contract position based in Nashville, TN, with the potential for full-time employment. This role is crucial in supporting our Clinical Research team and Physician Liaison program, which are integral to our mission of improving cancer care through a patient-centric, physician-driven, and technology-powered model. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce development and integrations, particularly with Azure Databricks and other enterprise solutions such as Workday, Slack, and ServiceNow. In this position, the Salesforce Developer will be responsible for collaborating with the Clinical Research team to design and build processes for managing study leads and tracking research activities within Salesforce. Additionally, the developer will support the Physician Liaison program by developing and expanding Salesforce functionalities to streamline their growth and engagement with physicians across the country. This role requires expertise in managing access and roles within Salesforce, ensuring secure and segmented data access for different departments while complying with data privacy and security regulations. The developer will also be tasked with building and maintaining integrations between Salesforce and our Azure Databricks instance, as well as providing ongoing support and maintenance for the Salesforce instance. This includes addressing any issues or bugs promptly and collaborating with team members to identify and implement improvements and new features. The ability to independently solve complex problems and implement effective solutions is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Clinical Research team to design and build processes for managing study leads and tracking research activities within Salesforce.
• Support the Physician Liaison program by developing and expanding Salesforce functionalities to streamline their growth and engagement with physicians across the country.
• Implement and optimize workflows, processes, and customizations in Salesforce to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and manage access controls and role hierarchies to ensure secure and segmented data access for different departments.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations through robust access management.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and our Azure Databricks instance.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the Salesforce instance, addressing any issues or bugs promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements and new features.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Salesforce Developer.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, APIs, and integration capabilities.
• Experience with Salesforce access management, role hierarchies, and data security best practices.
• Experience with integrations, specifically with Azure Databricks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and solve complex problems with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Salesforce Developer Certification(s) preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or related industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
