B&A is looking for a Salesforce Developer to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Salesforce Developer to join our team. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of custom solutions within the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce's architecture and experience in integrating Salesforce with other systems. You will work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Custom objects, workflows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards to meet specific business requirements.
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other tools.
  • Conduct unit tests, debug issues, and ensure the quality and performance of the Salesforce solutions. Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for all custom development, including system design, data models, and integration processes.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features and technologies and apply best practices to improve development processes and performance.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance of existing Salesforce implementations, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Ensure that all Salesforce development follows security best practices and complies with data protection regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience with federal project using Salesforce (CRM).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including security, data model, and custom development.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration tools and techniques (e.g., REST, SOAP, MuleSoft, or other middleware).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Apex, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for Salesforce, such as Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins, or Copado.
  • Experience in a consulting environment or working with large-scale Salesforce implementations.
