About the position

Kforce has a client seeking a Salesforce Developer in Miramar, FL. The ideal candidate will apply their Salesforce technical proficiency to design and develop solutions utilizing the inbuilt CRM technologies and functionalities. This role involves mapping Salesforce capabilities, features, and best practices against business and technical requirements by performing fit-gap analysis against Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the available tools within the AppExchange and Force.com platform. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for application development, prototyping, testing, and demonstrating capabilities to users. Additionally, the role includes working on the design and development of interfaces, APIs, and integrations from Salesforce to external systems. The developer will assist business analysts and support team members in addressing security and compliance requirements related to the setup of the Salesforce platform and development environments.

Responsibilities

• Apply Salesforce technical proficiency to design and develop solutions using inbuilt CRM technologies and functionalities.
• Map Salesforce capabilities, features, and best practices against business and technical requirements by performing fit-gap analysis against Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and available tools within AppExchange and Force.com platform.
• Perform application development, prototyping, testing, and demo capabilities to users.
• Work on design and development of interfaces APIs and integrations from Salesforce to external systems.
• Assist business analyst and support team members to address security and compliance requirements related to the setup of Salesforce platform and development environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience programming with Java, JavaScript, Apex, Visualforce Pages, Apex Triggers, LWC, Batch Process, Salesforce API (REST/SOAP/Metadata, etc.).
• Front-end development experience with Lightning Design System.
• Knowledge of integrations, 3rd party integration tools, ETL with Salesforce.
• Extensive understanding of relational database languages (SQL or SOQL).
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented analysis and design, database design and software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment either on a team or as an individual contributor.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proven leadership, prioritization, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and to integrate business processes across systems.
