About the position

The Salesforce Developer role involves designing, building, and implementing customized solutions on the Salesforce Service Cloud platform. The position requires collaboration with IT teams for system integration, support for customer service teams, and adherence to best practices in development. The developer will also be responsible for documentation, training, and ensuring compliance with data security guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Customize Salesforce: Design, build, and implement tailored solutions on the Salesforce Service Cloud platform, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and automation processes.
• Integrate with Other Systems: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Salesforce with external applications, databases, and tools to optimize service processes and customer support.
• Implement Service Cloud Features: Configure and customize Service Cloud-specific features like Case Management, Knowledge Base, Omni-Channel, Service Console, and Live Agent to improve customer service.
• Support Users: Provide technical support and guidance to the Customer Support and Service teams, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal use of Service Cloud.
• Maintain Best Practices: Follow Salesforce best practices for development and maintain clean, reusable, and reliable code.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, administrators, and department leaders to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
• Documentation and Training: Document technical solutions and provide training to end-users and internal teams on new functionalities and features.
• Ensure Compliance and Security: Adhere to data security and compliance guidelines within the Salesforce environment, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud.
• Proficiency in Salesforce development tools and languages, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
• Experience with integrating Salesforce with other systems and applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and provide user support.

Nice-to-haves

• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Developer or Salesforce Certified Administrator.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with data security and compliance standards in Salesforce.
