About the position

The Salesforce Developer position is a contract role based in Plano, TX, requiring expertise in Salesforce programming and integration. The developer will be responsible for creating custom user interfaces, maintaining code documentation, and ensuring best practices in development. The role involves collaboration with IT and other developers to integrate systems and manage release cycles for application updates.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom user interfaces using Visualforce pages, Lightning pages, and Lightning Web Components.
• Maintain code documentation and ensure adherence to best practices in Salesforce development.
• Utilize Salesforce automation tools such as Workflows and Einstein Orchestrator.
• Integrate Salesforce with other organizational systems using Salesforce APIs.
• Collaborate with IT and developers to ensure seamless integration across business systems.
• Manage release cycles for implementing and deploying new applications and updates to existing code.
• Resolve technical support issues for internal users by understanding requests and providing solutions.
• Create and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Salesforce programming and custom UI development.
• Proficiency in Salesforce integration and using Salesforce APIs.
• Experience with Salesforce automation tools like Workflows and Einstein Orchestrator.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Copado.
• Experience in the insurance module is preferred.
