Salesforce Developer

About the position

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team in Houston, TX. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, documenting, and deploying high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will communicate with the team and stakeholders regarding project status, technical issues, and creative solutions. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to continue growing as a developer by staying abreast of best practices and new functionalities on the Force.com platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Communicate with the team and/or stakeholders regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions.
• Continue to grow as a developer, staying abreast of best practices and new functionality on the Force.com platform.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience expertise in Salesforce.com in at least one of the following areas/modules: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
• Hands-on experience in working with Salesforce.com integration tools such as APIs, including Bulk API, configuring AppExchange plugins, and Web Service Integration.
• Experience in Force.com platform (APEX, Visual Force), SFDC triggers and controllers, creating Visual Force pages, using DML, sobjects, SOQL or SOSL, SFDC Force.com SOAP and REST APIs, JSON.
• Experience with web development using JSF/JSP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud ETL tools e.g. Data Loader.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Salesforce.com certification (Developer/Admin/Consultant) is an added advantage.
