About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team here at Material Bank! As a Salesforce Developer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and optimizing our Salesforce Sales Cloud to support our rapidly growing business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that drive customer engagement, streamline operations, and improve overall business performance. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Salesforce development projects from inception to completion.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Design, develop, and implement Salesforce applications and solutions, including coding solutions.
• Customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications.
• Perform code reviews, ensure coding standards, and best practices are followed.
• Coordinate and lead a team of Salesforce administrators, developers and external consultants.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to the development team.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment by functioning as a 'hands on' leader.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communicate project status, organization, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Ensure all Salesforce solutions are tested thoroughly and meet quality standards.
• Oversee the creation of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) and deployment activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant) are highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce development.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in a technology or software development environment.
• Proven experience in managing Salesforce projects end-to-end.
• Strong proficiency in Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components).
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Agile.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
