About the position

NTT DATA Services is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our remote team, focusing on developing highly scalable internal applications using Force.com technologies. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in JAVA or Force.com programming, along with a strong understanding of Javascript, CSS, SOAP XML, and HTML. This role involves working through all phases of the front-end to back-end development lifecycle, collaborating with team members to develop new application features and enhance existing code and frameworks. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for building successful web-based solutions utilizing web services and must possess the ability to quickly grasp unfamiliar technologies and integrate them effectively. A strong experience with Service Cloud, including the latest features such as case swarming, Einstein AI, and expert finder, is essential. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in an enterprise environment, including source code control, continuous deployment, and release management, as well as data modeling design and UI code coverage. Knowledge of web services (SOAP and REST) is also required.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS
• 4+ years of experience programming with Force.com (Apex, LWC, LWR and Visualforce) or Java
• 2+ years experience with JavaScript (JS)
• Expertise with relational database languages (SQL or SOQL)
• Extensive understanding of Object Oriented (OO) design patterns such as Model View Controller (MVC)
• Extensive understanding of HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to learn quickly and be a self-starter

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Experience developing on the Salesforce.com platform & APIs
• Certifications in Force.com and/or Java
