About the position

The Salesforce Developer position at Codeworks involves working with the Force.com platform to customize applications and integrate various systems. The role requires collaboration with colleagues and clients to define technical requirements, ensure adherence to security guidelines, and manage release cycles for application updates. The developer will also be responsible for compiling development standards and training the development team for smooth transitions to maintenance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Work with colleagues, customers, and end users to define technical requirements for new projects and enhancements.
• Ensure that technical requirements align with established customer requirements and performance goals.
• Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new updates to existing applications and code.
• Maintain overall technical responsibility for the project environments.
• Compile internal development guidelines and standards for the development team and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with developers from other systems for integration across the business.
• Ensure proposed solutions adhere to security guidelines throughout the application lifecycle.
• Communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level and act as a trusted voice in decision-making.
• Devise a training plan for the development team for a smooth transition to Maintenance & Operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience using Force.com platform functionalities and customizing applications based on Apex coding or configurations.
• 4+ years of programming experience with Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Apex, HTML5, and JavaScript within the Salesforce platform.
• 5+ years of experience with Service Cloud or Gov Cloud.
• 3+ years of Apex API Integration experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or other DevOps tools.
