About the position

Labcorp is seeking a Salesforce Developer who will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, documenting, deploying, and supporting third-party integrations with Salesforce. This position requires a strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and the ability to implement solutions within an agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality code on a frequent basis, ensuring that best practices are followed in software architecture and development. The Salesforce Developer will also contribute to the overall technical architecture, best practices, and standards for development on the Salesforce platform. In this role, the Salesforce Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that integrations are seamless and meet the needs of the business. The developer will be expected to have thorough knowledge of APEX and Lightning Web Components, as well as experience with various Salesforce modules such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Einstein Analytics, and Prediction Builder. The position also involves working with large data volumes and integrating large enterprise systems with Salesforce, which requires a solid understanding of web services using REST/JSON. The successful candidate will have a strong background in developing batch jobs, asynchronous APEX, and lightning flows, and will be familiar with tools like SFDX and CI/CD technologies. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an agile environment, whether it be Scrum or Kanban, and is passionate about leveraging technology to drive business success.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, document, deploy, and support third-party integrations with Salesforce.
  • Implement solutions within an agile SDLC framework that delivers high-quality code on a frequent basis.
  • Input into overall technical architecture, best practices, and standards for development in the Salesforce platform.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience developing in the Salesforce ecosystem - Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Web Components, Flows, etc.
  • Thorough knowledge of APEX and Lightning Web Components.
  • Salesforce certifications, including Salesforce Platform App Builder certified.
  • Knowledge of applications like DocuSign and AppExchange products is a big plus.
  • Experience in dealing with large data volumes.
  • Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Ensure best practices with software architecture and development.
  • Experience integrating large enterprise systems with Salesforce.
  • Experience in developing batch jobs, asynchronous APEX, and lightning flows.
  • Thorough knowledge of Salesforce's different modules like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Einstein Analytics, Prediction Builder, etc.
