About the position

The Salesforce Developer role at GREEN IMPACT focuses on building applications that assist organizations in reducing their carbon footprint and achieving net-zero goals. The position involves working closely with experienced Salesforce professionals and requires a passion for sustainability. The developer will engage in various tasks including configuring Salesforce applications, integrating systems, and participating in project planning.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply Salesforce development principles (Apex, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL)
• Configure and customize Salesforce applications to track sustainability metrics
• Assist in integrating Salesforce with other systems (IoT devices, energy management systems)
• Participate in project planning, identifying milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements
• Use an analytical, data-driven approach to understand fast-changing business needs
• Write test scripts for completed functionality
• Ensure data files are formatted correctly for Net Zero Cloud's import requirements
• Help identify and address preliminary data quality issues in customer data
• Participate in mapping exercises to match customer data fields with Net Zero Cloud fields
• Import transformed data and validate results
• Generate basic reports using pre-built templates within Net Zero Cloud
• Assist in customizing reports to meet specific needs of internal teams
• Actively participate in internal sustainability initiatives and data collection efforts
• Collaborate with colleagues across different departments to ensure seamless data flow into Net Zero Cloud
• Attend training programs and workshops to enhance understanding of Net Zero Cloud functionalities and best practices

Requirements

• Certified Salesforce Administrator
• Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (CRMA)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce and related software
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong aptitude for prioritization and multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
