About the position

The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for customizing, developing, and supporting solutions on the Salesforce platform, particularly focusing on Service Cloud. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to design scalable and maintainable solutions, contributing to coding standards, and implementing design patterns. The developer will tackle complex problems and drive towards simple solutions while collaborating with various teams to enhance service support levels and overall sales effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Interview non-technical managers to understand complex business rules and create comprehensive documentation for Salesforce implementation.
• Develop and implement Salesforce integration strategies and initiatives.
• Utilize Salesforce to improve processes and build scalable solutions.
• Enhance the Support model using Service Cloud features like Chat, Chatter, Einstein Bots, and Analytics.
• Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, reports, and dashboards.
• Design and optimize user interfaces using Visualforce pages.
• Develop and maintain validation rules and custom workflow rules.
• Develop Lightning components and integrate them into applications.
• Translate business requirements into logical, component-based technical designs.
• Create design and technical specification documentation using Confluence/Quip.
• Drive resolution of issues during the development phase.
• Provide ongoing code-level maintenance and support.
• Adopt Lean and Agile principles to collaborate with others in refining and releasing the Salesforce product.
• Collaborate with the Design team to ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Create internationalized software for global markets.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in the IT/Technology industry with development and design experience (Java, JavaScript, AJAX preferred).
• 5 years of experience in Force.com, Visualforce, and Apex programming language (Salesforce Platform Developer I required, Salesforce Platform Developer II preferred).
• 3 years of experience in Salesforce.com configuration and customization, including workflows, S-controls, data validations, and triggers.
• Experience designing and building product features on the SFDC platform.
• Demonstrated understanding of Salesforce.com architecture and API.
• Proficient in Lightning component development.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling, including Salesforce.com SOQL and SOSL query languages.
• Experience using the Force.com data loader and handling data migration assignments.
• Proficiency in Java, SOAP, and REST services.
• Expert knowledge of MVC concepts and object-oriented methodologies.
• Familiarity with development tools such as Eclipse and GIT.
• Experience creating RESTful web services on the Salesforce platform.
• Experience creating APIs or calling APIs with extensive Apex programming.
• Experience using Salesforce Admin features for data security and controls.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, multitasking, and presentation skills.
