About the position

CGI is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join their team, focusing on supporting clients in the secondary mortgage industry. This role involves working in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating with product owners and development teams to enhance applications and user experiences on the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities

  • Work with product owners and development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in applications or large development projects.
  • Create or update documentation in support of development efforts, including specifications, implementation guides, and architecture diagrams.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to user stories and architecture patterns.
  • Respond to trouble/support calls for production applications to maintain operational integrity.
  • Create Visualforce and Lightning components for custom user experiences in Salesforce.com.
  • Review code in collaboration with Administrators to ensure system performance and integrity.

Requirements

  • 5-6 years of relevant experience in Salesforce development.
  • Superior skills in Salesforce development including Apex, Visualforce, REST, APIs, SOQL, XML, Javascript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Experience with Source format and Git, Jenkins.
  • Hands-on experience developing applications on the Salesforce.com platform and web-based applications.
  • Experience with both Salesforce Lightning and Classic versions.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce development IDEs such as Eclipse and VS Code.
  • Expert administrative skills in Salesforce.com, including user management and custom object creation.
  • Ability to perform data cleanup and mass changes using data loader.
  • Experience managing release/upgrade cycles for Salesforce.

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce Certified Developer II preferred.
