About the position

Kforce has a client seeking a Salesforce Developer in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring three days onsite at the Palm Beach Gardens office. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying Salesforce solutions, which include custom applications, workflows, and integrations. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring that the solutions meet business needs. In this role, you will maintain and enhance existing Salesforce implementations to ensure optimal performance and user experience. You will develop and maintain custom objects, fields, validation rules, and triggers, as well as create and manage Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components. Integration of Salesforce with other systems and third-party applications using APIs and web services will also be a key responsibility. Additionally, you will provide technical support and troubleshoot issues as they arise, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices in development and deployment. Staying updated with the latest Salesforce releases and features and implementing relevant updates will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Salesforce Developer Certification(s) (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II) preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations and data migration.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or Service Cloud.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
