About the position

The Salesforce Development Manager will lead the development and architectural efforts for Salesforce CRM systems, specifically focusing on Financial and Marketing Cloud implementations. This role requires a hands-on approach, working closely with both onshore and offshore teams, and involves significant interaction with C-level business users and various stakeholders in the banking and wealth management sectors. The manager will oversee the design, development, and deployment of high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform, ensuring adherence to best practices and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead various tasks relating to development and architecting of Salesforce CRM system.
• Manage and improve the design and development phase of Salesforce projects.
• Work with business analysts and developers to implement/enhance Salesforce CRM.
• Create flow diagrams, structure charts, and other system representations.
• Perform hands-on development work including build and deployment.
• Lead and manage technical aspects and project initiatives of the Salesforce development team.
• Gather and analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, test, document, and deploy business solutions on Salesforce.com.
• Design the security model for Salesforce, ensuring application security.
• Ensure daily production activities, data maintenance, and verification in Salesforce.com.
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve cases within established Service Level Agreements.
• Adhere to Software Development Lifecycle and ITIL methodologies.
• Assist in the design and implementation of new processes and system enhancements.
• Assist in testing, deployment, and post-launch support of new functionality.
• Communicate with other IT teams regarding status and technical issues.
• Leverage industry development best practices and frameworks.
• Review and update SQL/SOQL/Apex scripts.
• Incorporate platform security features to meet data security requirements.
• Collaborate with other platforms including MuleSoft and Core Banking.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of experience with Salesforce development.
• 15-20+ years in software development.
• Experience with JIRA, Bit Bucket/Github, and Jenkins.
• Proficiency in web programming languages such as Java, J2EE, XML, XSD, JSON.
• Large scale application development and integration experience.
• Strong business knowledge in KYC, Account Opening, and Core Banking.
• Technical know-how in TCP/IP, Security protocols, SSO, and MFA.
• Experience in an Agile environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Single Sign On experience is a plus.
• Experience with shell scripts, Autosys, Cybermation scheduling tools.
