About the position

The Salesforce Enablement Manager at Hearst Media Services is responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of the sales team through the management of Salesforce (SFDC) tools and processes. This role involves creating and managing dashboards, overseeing product updates, and providing training to staff on SFDC usage. The manager will also leverage AI to improve reporting and dashboard creation, ensuring that the sales team is equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage dashboards and reports in Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Oversee IO/Product changes and new product updates.
  • Set up new user accounts and troubleshoot issues in SFDC.
  • Develop billing instructions for new products.
  • Collaborate with the corporate SFDC team during weekly meetings.
  • Provide staff training on SFDC.
  • Update commission plans and structures.
  • Provide reporting to sales managers to highlight areas of opportunity to increase salesforce usage by representatives.
  • Utilize AI to generate enhanced reporting and improve dashboard creation.
  • Approve rates for new products and sales initiatives in NewsCycle Advertising (Naviga).
  • Test billing processes for new products.
  • Act as the primary liaison with iPublish during weekly meetings.
  • Produce and analyze iPublish reports.
  • Set up and maintain contracts in the eContract system (DocuSign).
  • Manage advertising contracts for various entities.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new salespeople in collaboration with the corporate team.
  • Provide business unit-specific training for the San Antonio Express-News (SAEN) and Austin as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) and AI tools.
  • Strong communication and training capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with external partners and internal teams.
  • Expertise in contract management and documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, or a similar role.
