About the position

The Salesforce Engineer will support AWS's Global Infrastructure teams by acting as the primary point of contact for multiple user groups and global teams. This role involves development, maintenance, configuration, reporting, and training within the Salesforce.com environment. The engineer will lead technical projects, drive automation of processes, develop new applications, and manage integrations with various business systems, ensuring solutions are usable, scalable, and maintainable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for user groups and global teams requiring Salesforce development and support.
• Lead multiple technical projects or portions of projects simultaneously.
• Develop, maintain, and configure Salesforce applications and integrations with other business systems.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as required by various teams.
• Drive automation of processes within the Salesforce environment.
• Provide training and support to users on Salesforce functionalities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of experience designing or architecting systems.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
• 3+ years of Salesforce.com development experience.
• 1+ years of experience with Lightning Design System and creating custom components.
• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Salesforce Lightning and Visualforce development.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
• Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills.
