About the position

The Salesforce Engineer for AWS Analytics and Data Solutions (ADS) Business Process Automation (BPA) will play a crucial role in supporting the Global Infrastructure teams at AWS. This position involves being the primary contact for various user groups and global teams, focusing on development, maintenance, configuration, reporting, and training within the Salesforce environment. The engineer will lead multiple technical projects, drive automation, develop new applications, and manage integrations with other business systems, ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for multiple user groups and global teams requiring Salesforce development and support.
  • Lead multiple technical projects or portions of projects simultaneously.
  • Develop, maintain, and configure Salesforce applications and integrations with other Amazon systems.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as needed.
  • Drive automation of processes and develop new applications on the Force.com platform.
  • Provide training and support to users on Salesforce functionalities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 1+ years of experience designing or architecting systems for reliability and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
  • 3+ years of Salesforce.com development experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with Lightning Design System and creating custom components.
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Salesforce Lightning and Visualforce development.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills.
