About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce Technical Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering complex Salesforce solutions that support Wex's growth and platform transformation goals. As a trusted advisor and technical leader, you will guide partners and internal teams through the entire implementation lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design of Salesforce solutions, including data models, integrations, security, and customizations.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate Salesforce technologies and approaches.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design specifications.
• Oversee the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Manage technical risks and dependencies.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and developers.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor and guide junior technical team members.
• Stay current with the latest Salesforce technologies and trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect or in a similar role.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce platform configuration and customization.
• Hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce development technologies.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
• Experience with data migration and integration tools.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (preferred) or equivalent certifications.
• Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect is a plus.
